House Prices Drop Again
The latest figures from Nationwide indicate that housing prices have fallen for a fourth consecutive month. This fall has brought the cost of the average home down to £179,358.
The figures show the annual house price growth has fallen from 4.2% in January to 2.7% in February. Nationwide has said not to read too much into this sharp fall, as last February saw a particularly strong increase in prices.
According to the figures, the average price of property in the UK has increased by £4,653 in the last 12 months.
